I do not want to see any pipework, can you manufacture rear connections?
ANSWER:
We can manufacture our horizontal and vertical ranges with rear connections.
QUESTION:
Can you integrate the thermostatic valve into the radiator?
All Hudevad products have the option of an integrated thermostatic valve. These can be positioned on the side or front of the radiator. This option is recommended where rear connections are specified.

Can you paint my radiator a different colour?
ANSWER:
We can paint your radiator in any RAL or BS colour. Other colour ranges maybe available on request.
QUESTION:
Can I paint the radiators a different colour myself?
ANSWER:
Yes, our radiators are powder coated to remove any imperfections in the steel front plate and will accept a wet spray of your chosen colour very well. We would not recommend painting with a brush.

Does it matter where I connect my pipes?
ANSWER:
Usually pipes are connected at the bottom of each side of the radiator. However to get the maximum heat from the radiator the pipes should be connected with the flow at the top of one side and the return at the bottom of the other.

Do you have a standard stock range?
ANSWER:
Yes, we keep a number of popular sizes in stock in the UK. Please click on the link to explore. Please note our stock ranges are only offered with standard tappings.

How long does it take to manufacture a bespoke radiator?
ANSWER:
Manufactured items usually take 4 weeks. However during busy periods and during our summer shut down radiators may take up to 7 weeks to manufacture.

Can I recess my radiators?
ANSWER:
Yes, you can recess any Hudevad product. We recommend a minimum clearance around the sides of the radiator of 75 mm to access the air vent and 100 mm clearance above and below. Please note thess dimensions will change depending where the thermostatic valve is installed.
QUESTION:
Can I box my radiator in?
ANSWER:
Yes, all Hudevad radiators can be boxed in, however, this will have an impact on the output achieved in the space. Where radiators are boxed we recommend a grille at the bottom of the boxing and another either at the top of the front of the boxing or on the top. Please contact us with specific enquiries.

Can you manufacture curved and angled radiators?
ANSWER:
Yes, the Plan Single range and SCE/SCD can be curved or angled, and the P5/P5K range can be angled only. Please contact us for further details.

ANSWER:
The P5 range both horizontal and vertical can be manufactured with electric elements. Please contact us for further details.

Do you supply fixings with your radiators?
ANSWER:
Our radiators are supplied with fixings. However it is up to the customer to confirm the suitability of the fixings supplied for their particular wall construction.

Do you manufacture towell radiators?
ANSWER:
Hudevad can add pegs or rails to our horizontal and vertical radiators for the hanging of towels. As our product firstly is a radiator in many circumstances no additional radiator is required in the bathroom. For further information please contact us.
